I am a Scottish creative practitioner, photographer and educator whose work is rooted in storytelling. My passion for photography began during my HND studies in my early twenties, where I first discovered film photography and the power of the photographic image to preserve memories, challenge perspectives and tell deeply personal stories.

From there, I went on to work as a commercial photographer before developing a creative practice centred on socially engaged and autobiographical projects. Through photography, zine-making and participatory creative methods, I explore themes of feminism, motherhood, grief, memory and identity.

My projects have included breastfeeding photography, a memoir photography project created for my father, and feminist zine work that celebrates women's voices and lived experiences.

I am particularly interested in how creative practice can be used to document everyday experiences, honour personal histories and create meaningful dialogue. Alongside my own practice, I work as a temporary Photography Lecturer at North East Scotland College, supporting emerging photographers in developing their creative and technical skills. Across all aspects of my work, I am driven by a belief in the power of storytelling to connect people, foster understanding and make visible experiences that are often overlooked.
